The safety
In terms of product safety, recent studies have proved that some chemical antibacterial agents can accumulate in the tissues of living organisms (traces have been found in fish and breast milk), causing liver and lung dysfunctions, paralysis, sterility and immune dysfunctions. As stated above, the additive used in SIREC is entirely natural and creates no toxicity or irritation problems.
What is more, some chemical antibacterial agents end up in effluent; purification treatment does not remove them and, as they are highly stable, they eventually pollute the waterways.
